About

Louisville Slugger is a U.S.-based baseball bat manufacturer with nine production facilities in the United States and one in Canada. The company was founded by the Hillerich family and has been operating for over 130 years, making it one of the most well-known brands of sports equipment in the world today.

It was founded in 1867 by brothers George and Cain and is still a family-owned business. They have been making the same Louisville Slugger bats since 1876. The bats are an iconic symbol of baseball, with the bat used in the Home Run Derby at the All-Star Game being one of the most recognizable bats in history.
